No-exam life insurance

Eligibility for speedy decisions, the mechanics of the process, and what to expect if you don't qualify.

Accelerated underwriting is standard across many insurance carriers. Within their thresholds, they approve based on your application information, medication records, driving history, plus additional sources—bypassing a hands-on visit. Turnaround can be a single day. Each of our quotes notes if an exam is required, potentially required, or not applicable.

What it changes

Accelerated doesn't eliminate underwriting—just the physical exam. They verify your statements. If incorrect data leads to a policy, it's cancellable within two years. If carrier information suggests issues, an exam or blood work may be requested—your option to proceed.

Who tends to qualify

You're typically in range if you're beneath 60, within a carrier's streamlined limit, haven't had serious health issues, and haven't touched tobacco products in a year. Current medical records with lab tests may replace a new exam at certain carriers.

When required, an exam is typically 20-30 minutes at your Seaside home or workplace, managed by a contractor, at zero cost. Great test results can sometimes improve your rate bracket, making exams occasionally helpful.
